Subj: Roadmap for USDF in Q4 2024
Team,
As we enter the final stretch of 2024, the Secretary of Defense and I are excited to share the USDF’s Q4 Roadmap! After months of collaboration and thoughtful feedback across all levels of Senior Command, we have an exciting quarter ahead that will set us up for a strong start to the new year.
One key focus this quarter is the re-evaluation and improvement of our core systems, including the Officer Points System (OPS) and the Standard of Work (SoW) program. Your feedback is central to everything we do, and we are taking actionable steps to ensure our decisions reflect the needs and experiences of everyone in our community. These major program updates will aim to enhance opportunities for both personal and professional growth within the USDF.
We’re also excited to introduce Habbo Defense 2.0, which will strengthen community engagement and open new avenues for connection, both within the USDF and the broader Habbo community through our fansite, led by the DCET and the CET team, which is now operating as a standalone office outside of OPA.
Additionally, we're updating our processes for exams, training simulations, and evaluations by shifting to more practical, scenario-based methods. These changes will better prepare our personnel while upholding our high standards.
Lastly, we have some exciting events on the horizon, including USDF’s 20th Anniversary and our festive holiday celebrations. These milestone occasions will allow us to come together, reflect on our journeys together, and celebrate our shared achievements! We're really excited to unveil what we have planned.
We’ll keep you informed as we reach key milestones. Thank you for your ongoing dedication and commitment. Let’s finish 2024 strong and lay the groundwork for an even brighter 2025!
