SUBJ: Roadmap for USDF in 2023 - Phase I of II
Team,
After much talk and generated hype throughout the holiday season, I am incredibly excited to present to you all USDF's Roadmap for 2023!
We will release two official Roadmap's this year, with Phase II published in June with updated goals for the last two quarters. I will also make this a live document, crossing out completed goals and tasks as we go along to show our commitment to our plan.
While we are equally invested in improving internal infrastructure, USDF will be taking a wide-ranged approach to expand our horizons and reach out to other Habbo communities beyond the Agency's floor. The senior command team and I understand that people are our greatest asset, and you can see below how most of our goals for the year are quality-of-life improvements through various areas in USDF. We are proud to be a community where people can have fun and simulate the military experience with a high level of quality, constantly looking to recreate the standard for success. Revitalizing some of our programs is a definite "must" in 2023. One of the programs I am most excited about is reintroducing the Officer Achievement System, which CJCS IonDABeast currently leads, which will create incentives for our Officer groups. We plan to work on implementing this with multiple focus groups and meetings with Officers to ensure we are hitting the correct checks in the box.
During the months I have returned as your Secretary of Defense, which I am genuinely honored and privileged to be, I have concluded that we need to refocus on the "fun" part of USDF—such as making noticeable regulation changes to allow our personnel to express themselves with more diverse hairstyles and features while also taking a look at modernizing some of our uniforms. I understand the value of your time and strive to make your experience with us as worthwhile as possible. Taking a solid and committed approach by creating a new sub-office to achieve our goals in the broader community of Habbo is something that we have not done in a while, and I am personally invested in delivering a new experience to all of you that wish to help out in any way or capacity possible. USD P&E Smash, who will lead the Community Engagement Team, is excited to announce the application process and begin preparations to set up an event!
Time is truly flying, and it is hard to believe that USDF's 8th anniversary is rapidly approaching this month. We have some massive celebrations that are being prepared and planned by our OPA team. More information will be provided soon—so stay tuned! We are also proud of our multiple new appointments made last week after New Year's Eve and are hopeful for the upcoming year.
Thank you for your service and commitment to USDF; I look forward to working with you in the coming year and providing updates as time goes on.
