1. Official formal warning
2. Formal meeting & probationary period¹
3. Removal from position 

^1: Probationary periods must last for a minimum of two weeks. Satisfactory performance requirements need to be met over the probationary period and performance improvements consistent post probation.

NSC reserves the right to bypass the removal procedure and remove personnel who are unfit for the position.

CHAPTER 1: GENERAL PROVISIONS

SUBSECTION 3. JURISDICTION
The Uniform Code of Military Justice is subjugated to the executive authority of the Secretary of Defense. The following herein is administratively governed by the Judge Advocate General (JAG) as delegated by the Secretary of Defense. The Office of the Joint Staff Inspector General (OJSIG) is responsible for the continued enforcement as long as these articles are in place. Only the OJSIG are permitted to carry out investigations.
