New information added under "Retirement Conditions":
Commissioned Officers are required to inform their Branch Chief and the CJCS of their intent to retire, and before posting their retirement, inform the SecDef. In the event the SecDef is unavailable, the DepSecDef must be notified. All retirement packages will be negotiated with the SecDef and will be logged on the user's PTS profile as applicable.

- Officers (O1+) that do not contact the parties outlined above will receive a General Discharge and will not be granted a retirement package.
