Regulation 4: Discharges, Reinstatements, and Transfers

Chapter 5, Section 2, Subsection 1. Processing Authority

• External transfers shall be processed exclusively by the OMP at the discretion of the DMP and OMP ML1, who reserve the right to deny transfer requests without cause.

Chapter 5, Section 2, Subsection 2. External Transfer Conditions

• Personnel may request external transfers up to 4 times. After the 4th denial, subsequent transfer requests shall be automatically rejected, and individuals must pursue enlistment.

To:

• Personnel may request external transfers up to 4 times. After the 4th deferral or rejection, subsequent transfer requests shall be automatically rejected, and individuals must pursue enlistment.

• Individuals who have been denied a transfer shall be eligible to transfer again after 7 days.

• Individuals who have been deferred or rejected shall be eligible to transfer again after 7 days. This waiting period can be reduced or increased at the discretion of the DMP, USD P&R, or CoS.
