CHAPTER 1. GENERAL ORDERS
Subsection 1. Purpose
The uniforms of USDF are issued under direction of the Secretary of Defense (SecDef) and carry the force of a standing order. The uniforms provide a distinctive form of dress that allows personnel to represent USDF and perform their duties with recognition and prestige. Furthermore, the various uniforms identify Habbos as USDF personnel and, more specifically, members of their individual military branches. The USDF uniform must be worn with dignity and pride and should never be used to discriminate or cause offense. The uniform does not represent the wearer; rather, the uniform represents USDF, an organization that desires to uphold a distinguished service record.
Subsection 2. Enforcement
This regulation defines the composition of USDF's authorized uniforms. The uniform must always be worn on USDF (excludes external R&R), allied, and foreign grounds (personnel who possess VIP privileges are exempt). Furthermore, the uniforms are distinctive visual evidence of the authority and responsibility vested in the wearer by the SecDef. The prescribing authority determines when and where it is appropriate to wear the uniforms discussed in this regulation. All components of the uniform must be worn as described. The USDF's personnel must present a proud and professional appearance that will reflect positively on the organization. Any procedures or components regarding uniforms, mottos, grooming, etc., that are not discussed in these regulations are prohibited.
Subsection 3. Temporary Alterations to the Uniform
- O1+ personnel may authorize the temporary alteration and non-regulation of one accessory item (eyewear, headwear, etc.) for one hour at a time.
- JSD+ personnel may authorize the temporary alteration and non-regulation of clothing items (shirt, pants, etc) and accessories.
- Only NSC+ personnel may authorize the temporary alteration of the entire uniform with choice by the personnel (otherwise known as Non-Uniform Hours).
- Personnel are not permitted to wear unauthorized accessories or uniforms that have office membership or FEATs restrictions, such as specific colors and types of accessory pertaining to these conditions.
- Temporary uniform alteration hours may not be hosted back to back with previous hours unless approved by a member of the National Security Council (NSC).
Subsection 4. Behavior while in Uniform
While in uniform, it is inappropriate and detracts from military smartness for personnel to walk from point to point whilst acting inappropriately; this includes, but is not limited to, language or behavior that is explicitly sexual, racist, foul, or offensive to others. This includes the use of language that is generally not accepted by all social standards and cultures.
Subsection 5. Officers on Leave
Officers on an approved leave must dress in professional civilian attire while in the HQ. Refer to Chapter 6, Subsection 3 for more information. Furthermore, they must modify their motto by adding "OL" to the very beginning of it.
CHAPTER 2. COLOR GUIDES
Subsection 1. General Definitions
The following colors marked with a number are the ones authorized for USDF uniforms All those without numbers are not authorized for use. The table below details which colors are allowed to be substituted with HC colors and others. Officers without HC should NOT substitute colors on the service uniform and, instead, wear the working uniform.
