FOREIGN AFFAIRS NEWS (FAN)

The Foreign Affairs News repository serves as a forum for which diplomats post vital updates regarding the Agency Floor. These updates assist the Office of International Security Affairs - and by extension, senior command of the United States Defense Force - in staying completely up-to-date and 'ahead of the game'. These updates are to ensure USDF members are aware of the happenings within our group floor. Any questions, comments, or concerns should be directed to a member of OISA Command+ regarding these FANs.

The type of news that we are most interested in includes, but is not limited to:

• The closing of an organization;
• The opening of a new organization;
• Changes to the senior command of an organization;
• Major news or events concerning an organization (Note: only post about events in which USDF members are permitted to attend);
• Public statements made by an organization;
• Changes to the headquarters of an organization;
• Structural/policy changes to an organization.

When posting a news update, remember to:

• Take screenshots for evidence - imgur and ShareX are great tools for taking screenshots;
• Ensure you fact-check the information you come across and make sure it as accurate as possible;
• Not post the same news update as someone else;
• Not post news about changes to USDF - we are only interested in news from foreign organizations;
• Ensure you attain the approval of an OISA command member to post the FAN prior to publishing;

Procedure:

Once you have come across some newsworthy information, copy the template below and post it as a reply to this thread. Ensure you fill out all of the information correctly and ensure that the coding is correct. Present a "preview" of the post to an OISA command member via Discord direct message. The command member may then give their approval to post the news update and also warrant 2 SoW points.

If you are not a member of OISA and post on this thread you will be subject to disciplinary action.

Important points:

• Paste the code into the BBCode tab, then make your changes in the Preview tab;[/font]

• Remove 'Response here' and replace it with the correct information;

Additional information: This is a big design change for USDF, who have gone from using an outdoor-themed HQ to now an indoor theme. This has been a long time coming and something that their personnel love already. This was a very complex build, especially with the outdoor portion of the front of their HQ.

FBI-Premier - FBI SIDE QUEST RAFFLE (17 JUL 24)

What happened? The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI NW3C) will be hosting a raffle on 20 JUL 24! Tickets initially costs 2c each, though discounts are given if more tickets are bought. Foreign entities are also encouraged to join the raffle by buying tickets! If interested, reach out to a member of FBI's Financial team to buy tickets.

When did it happen?: 16 JUL 24, the raffle will be on 20 JUL 24.

Additional information: The FBI has currently sold over 1,000 tickets! As the ticket sales increase, the prize tiers increase as well with LTD bonuses added.
