    Regulation 4: Discharges, Reinstatements and Transfers
    Chapter 1, Section 2, Subsection 1

    New information added under "Retirement Conditions":

    Commissioned Officers are required to inform their Branch Chief and the CJCS of their intent to retire, and before posting their retirement, inform the SecDef. In the event the SecDef is unavailable, the DepSecDef must be notified. All retirement packages will be negotiated with the SecDef and will be logged on the user's PTS profile as applicable.
    • Officers (O1+) that do not contact the parties outlined above will receive a General Discharge and will not be granted a retirement package.

    Following to be removed from Table 1:

    "E4 Auto Promotion" from under PAY GRADE PROMOTION and "{G} {J} {R} {T} at E3" from under MINIMUM FEATS. 

    With the table now starting with:

    "E5 (incl. JNCO/SEL)" from under PAY GRADE PROMOTION and "{P} {U} at E4" from under MINIMUM FEATS.

    Regulation 4: Discharges, Reinstatements, and Transfers
    Chapter 4, Section 4, Subsection 1

    Change:
    SUBSECTION 1. Full Reset
    Pardoned personnel who have been subjected to a full reset shall:
    • Have their service time reset;
    • Lose all FEATs, PTPs, FTXs, and other educational milestones; and,
    • Lose all medals and service stripes.

    To:
    SUBSECTION 1. Standard Reset
    A Standard Reset is used for most pardons.
    Pardoned personnel who have been subjected to a standard reset shall:
    • Lose trainings in accordance with Chapter 4, Section 1, Subsection 2, Table 4 in this Regulation;
    • Lose their training grade; and,
    • Lose all higher educational milestones: SODC, SOAB, and FGOAB.
    Regulation 4: Discharges, Reinstatements, and Transfers

    Change:
    SUBSECTION 2. Modified Reset
    Personnel who have been subjected to a modified reset shall:
    • Have their service time reset;
    • Lose all higher educational milestones, including OCS preparation, SODC, SOAB, and FGOAB; and,
    • Lose all service stripes.

    To:
    SUBSECTION 2. Full Reset
    A Full Reset is reserved for those who have committed significant UCMJ violations but have been granted a pardon for another opportunity. 
    Pardoned personnel who have been subject to a full reset shall: 
    • Have their service time reset;
    • Lose all FEATs, PTPs, FTXs, including SRI/FTI/GPI. FEAT {O} is only removed at the discretion of NSC;
    • Lose their training grade and JDT belt;
    • Lose all medals and service stripes; and,
    • Lose all educational milestones: SNCOLC, WODC, OCS, SODC, SOAB, FGOAB. OCS is only removed at the discretion of the NSC.

    Change:
    • For all of the HQ duties, excluding failed training duties, you just have to note who has confirmed your shifts, and other required information asked in the submission fields accordingly. If submitting more than one 0.5 shift confirmed by the same (warrant) officer, you should list that this (warrant) officer has confirmed you in increments of each 0.5 hours. Do not list the submissions in 1.0 hour increments!
    ​To:
    • For all of the HQ duties, excluding failed training duties, you just have to note who has confirmed your shifts, and other required information asked in the submission fields accordingly. If submitting more than one 0.5 shift confirmed by the same Warrant Officer or Commissioned Officer, you should list that this Warrant Officer or Commissioned Officer has confirmed you in increments of each 0.5 hours. You may list the submissions on PTS for a max of 2.0 hour increments, but it is recommended that you submit in 0.5 hour increments. If your full duty shift exceeds 2 hours, it must be split into multiple submissions.
