They each report to their respective Branch Chief. They serve a two month term where an extension of one month may be granted at the discretion of their Branch Chief.

    Regulation 4: Discharges, Reinstatements, and Transfers
    Chapter 4, Section 4

    Change:

    Reinstatement terms following an approved pardon shall be determined by the JAG. Such terms may include a standard reset or a full reset.
    • Personnel who have been pardoned following an Executive discharge shall automatically be subject to one of the reset options, unless granted an exception by the SecDef or the DepSecDef.

It will oversee and support the work of the USD ED, DOT&E & DJFD, coordinating all personnel development programs within the portfolio. The CMET reports to the DepSecDef. Duties include, but are not limited to: 
    • Assist in legislative decisions 
    • Providing oversight and strategic direction of OOT&E and OJFD. 
    • Coordination and monitoring of educational, training and assessment programs within USDF. 
    • Ensure development of personnel through education and training 
    • Work on statistic, activities and functions that benefit USDF

    Change the following: 

    Personnel must formally submit their resignation prior to accepting a rank in any foreign organization.
    • Accepting a rank in any foreign organization before submitting a valid resignation shall constitute a breach of Article 7 of the UCMJ. 

    Accepting a rank in any foreign organization without formal notice indicating such intent in a resignation post shall constitute a violation of Article 12a of the UCMJ.


    To: 

    Personnel shall not seek a transfer to another organization or entity without first resigning from the USDF.
    • Personnel who wish to transfer to another organization or entity must have their resignation from the USDF approved prior to initiating the transfer process elsewhere. 

    Seeking a transfer to another organization or entity without first resigning from the USDF shall constitute a breach of the UCMJ.
