Regulation 4: Discharges, Reinstatements, and Transfers
Chapter 4, Section 4

Change:

Reinstatement terms following an approved pardon shall be determined by the JAG. Such terms may include a standard reset or a full reset.

• Personnel who have been pardoned following an Executive discharge shall automatically be subject to one of the reset options, unless granted an exception by the SecDef or the DepSecDef.

This position is responsible for the management and implementation of all education and training programs within USDF. It will oversee and support the work of the USD ED, DOT&E & DJFD, coordinating all personnel development programs within the portfolio. The CMET reports to the DepSecDef. Duties include, but are not limited to: 

• Assist in legislative decisions 
• Providing oversight and strategic direction of OOT&E and OJFD. 
• Coordination and monitoring of educational, training and assessment programs within USDF. 
• Ensure development of personnel through education and training 
• Work on statistic, activities and functions that benefit USDF 
• Assist the SecDef/DepSecDef with any other operational needs, as required.
